Tsuyu takes its name from the gentle rains of early summer that awaken Japan’s tea fields.
Harvested in the cool, mist-covered mountains of Yame, this single cultivar Okumidori matcha is crafted by the Mizota family, whose tea-making heritage spans over 75 years. Led today by Yoko Mizota, a second-generation farmer, their tea fields are cared for with quiet dedication and deep respect for the land.
Freshly stone-milled in small batches, Tsuyu is a matcha of refined balance—velvety and bright, with lingering notes of white chocolate, citrus blossom, and spring herbs.
